Air Logistics Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations and help drive efficiency, accuracy, and safety throughout our distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify product counts, and process inventory using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Operate material handling equipment to move, store, pick, stage, and load products.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while maintaining quality and GMP standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating concerns when appropriate.
• Train, coach, and support warehouse associates to ensure adherence to company procedures and safety standards.
• Assist supervisors with workflow coordination, productivity monitoring, and team communication.
• Step into a leadership role during supervisor absences to maintain operational continuity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, or similar equipment) or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems, scanners, and computer applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience training, mentoring, or providing guidance to team members is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety footwear.
