Air Logistics Airport Warehouse Specialist

About the role

The Air Logistics Airport Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations at our JFK facility, helping ensure air freight is received, processed, stored, and moved safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily warehouse operations at our JFK facility.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Uses scanners, computers, and the warehouse management system to receive, track, and process freight.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments and maintains accurate inventory and shipment information.
• Picks, packs, palletizes, and prepares freight for storage or transportation.
• Fulfills specialized shipping requirements including pharmaceutical and perishable freight.
• Identifies shipment or documentation discrepancies and escalates issues when needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Experience using warehouse management systems, scanners, or other warehouse technology.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using work email and system updates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process shipment information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime based on business needs.
• A high school diploma or technical degree.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree.
• Union-represented position covered by Teamsters Local 295.
• Starting pay based on experience, skills, internal equity, the applicable collective bargaining agreement, and business considerations.
• Not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Pay

This position offers up to $25.00 per hour, with starting pay based on experience, skills, internal equity, the applicable collective bargaining agreement, and business considerations.

Schedule

This position is based onsite in Jamaica/Queens, NY.
