The position is for an Air Force Senior Financial Specialist based in Dayton, OH, with travel to various U.S. locations, serving on the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS) Data Analytics Team to support data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the deployment and installation of Command-specific dashboards at Air Force installations, including complex modifications for local and command requirements.
• Oversee and direct daily sustainment and updates of dashboard capabilities, integrating multiple data sources (~30) and maintaining existing FMFO products (~80).
• Provide expert-level user support and troubleshooting for dashboard and Power BI tools, resolving escalated and complex issues.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced data models and visualization solutions, leveraging business intelligence platforms and, where appropriate, AI/ML tools.
• Conduct and facilitate advanced training sessions for installation users, develop and update training materials, and lead organizational change management initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise junior and journeyman financial management staff, providing guidance and quality assurance for all deliverables.
• Analyze user feedback, system performance, and data trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, security requirements, and government policies, and support audit readiness and remediation efforts.
