About the Role

As a Precision Technician, you’ll operate and set up friction manufacturing equipment, including IAG Press, high-variety finish lines, robotic baggers, ADB Compound, and ADB Finish Line unloader. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and using required PPE daily; keep work areas clean and report discrepancies immediately.
- Inspect equipment prior to use and report any issues; inspect product quality, investigate defects, take corrective action, and notify leadership.
- Accurately record scrap data and enter computer data for job tickets, production logs, and other documentation.
- Operate machinery per standard work requirements, following written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Maintain 5S standards and machine condition; perform preventative and autonomous maintenance as required.
- Produce required daily work quantities, adjusting pace to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Demonstrate alignment with company values in all tasks.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certification.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (5+ years preferred).
- Successful completion of basic skills test, drug screens, background checks, and physical demands testing.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics (including decimals and fractions).
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions with a high level of precision.
- Experience reading and interpreting precise measuring instruments.
- Strong teamwork and computer skills.
Physical Demands
- Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. (up to 1,200 times in an 8-hour shift).
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, carrying, and overhead movement.
- Ability to work in a heated environment and climb stairs multiple times per day.
- Ability to work at heights.
