About the role
Performs HVAC mechanical/electrical duties at the factory trained level of proficiency on chilled water systems, commercial VRF systems and secondary HVAC air and water systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years of journey level experience in a VRF mechanical and electrical field
- Factory certified training from VRF manufacturer
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving history (no more than two moving violations in a three-year period)
- Type III certification for refrigerant recovery/recycling as established by the EPA
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal OJT or Apprentice Program
- Completion of a two-year vocational training program or apprenticeship training program in related HVAC field
- Five years of experience in commercial HVAC mechanical and electrical field
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- University certification
Skills
- Proficient with commercial DX systems, central plant equipment, and secondary HVAC air and water systems, pumps, heat exchangers
Compensation
$25.40-$31.75, with starting salaries based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, and education.
