Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle A/C and climate control systems
- Perform inspections and identify issues related to HVAC performance
- Recharge systems with refrigerant, replace compressors, evaporators, and other A/C components
- Communicate with service advisors about customer concerns and recommended repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and up to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Stay updated on industry advancements and manufacturer training
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- ASE certification(s) in HVAC systems preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with automotive A/C systems preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with A/C repair tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
