Aide - Preschool
Job Summary
The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a faith-filled, caring, and energetic Preschool Aide to support the 3-year-old preschool classroom at St. Patrick Catholic School on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with daily activities and routines.
- Support students during learning centers, playtime, snack time, and transitions.
- Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment.
- Auxiliary with classroom preparation, clean-up, and special projects.
- Supervise and engage students during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Model Christian values and support the Catholic mission of the school.
Job Requirements
- Love for working with young children.
- Positive, patient, and nurturing demeanor.
- Energetic, dependable, and flexible.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of St. Patrick Catholic School.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
