Aide Pre-K Dual Language #3654 (2026-2027)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained once hired)
• Completed at least two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or Met a rigorous standard of quality demonstrated through a formal state or local academic assessment.

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Bilingual knowledge of general office equipment
• Light clerical skills
• Ability to work well with school-aged children
• Ability to read and write in Spanish
• Some experience working with school-aged children

Working Conditions

• Mental Demands: Reading; ability to communicate effectively (verbal); maintain emotional control under stress
• Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting. Able to lift up to 35 pounds
