Aide-Environmental Services 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services all assigned areas of the hospital facility in accordance with established policies and procedures, with emphasis on infection and cross‑contamination prevention and safety.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures without exception.
• Ability to effectively prioritize requests while maintaining established workflow.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs while maintaining focus on accomplishing tasks.
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills for interaction with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues across the care continuum.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to accurately complete daily work tickets.
• Ability to work productively alone and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
• Ability to meet job performance expectations and perform essential functions without posing a direct threat to health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40

Pay

Salary range: $16.63 – $24.99 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. This range reflects the anticipated range for new hires and is based on full‑time employment.
