About the Team

The EE Platform team focuses on silicon and EE architecture for AR/VR platforms to optimize system power, latency, and performance. The team innovates on customized silicon solutions for imaging, display, and connectivity with HW/SW co-optimization. Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop a power-efficient, low-latency, highly-intelligent machine perception vision system in a VR/AR product.
• Develop necessary training, data collection/generation pipelines along with state-of-the-art ML algorithms/frameworks for understanding scenes and user behaviors.
• Map ML algorithms to HW accelerators, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize performance and efficiency, and propose more efficient HW/SW co-designs for AI accelerators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into proper cloud-edge workload partitions and edge ML accelerator HW/SW requirements.
• Perform quantitative evaluations through system modeling and FPGA prototyping to validate ideas and architecture options.

Requirements

• Individuals completing or who have recently completed a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Research experience in ML algorithms or AI accelerator design.
• Experience with programming tools and languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ML frameworks.
• Strong communication skills, open-mindedness, and enthusiasm for new technologies.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $128,000 - $316,800 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package, which may include additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
