AI Transformation Lead

THE ROLE
We are looking for a rare combination: a deep AI practitioner, strategic thinker, and enterprise change agent. This is a full-time, onsite role based in San Jose, CA. Candidates must be authorised to work in the United States - US Citizens and Green Card holders only; we are not able to sponsor work visas for this position.
You will be SiriusAI’s senior AI voice in client engagements—leading transformation programs from vision through production deployment across GenAI, Agentic AI, and ML systems applied to Financial Services use cases including fraud detection, AML, credit risk, payments intelligence, and customer experience.
You will be equally comfortable whiteboarding agentic architectures with a CDO as reviewing production deployment plans with an engineering team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- AI Transformation Leadership
- Lead end-to-end AI transformation programs from opportunity framing and AI roadmap design through deployment and value realization.
- Drive executive-level AI strategy conversations (GenAI adoption, agentic workflows) with C-suite stakeholders; facilitate discovery sprints and AI readiness workshops.
- Develop business cases connecting AI capabilities to measurable financial and operational outcomes; guide multi-year client AI adoption journeys.
- Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Efficiently coordinate with Solution Leads to fine-tune and align AI solution designs—spanning GenAI apps, Agentic pipelines, RAG systems, fine-tuned LLMs, and production ML—ensuring fit with FS regulatory and risk requirements.
- Partner closely with Solution Leads and cross-functional teams (AI engineers, data scientists, ML platform engineers) to drive production-ready, scalable, and compliant deployment of AI solutions at client sites.
- Growth & Team
- Identify account expansion opportunities; lead technical scoping, ROI modeling, and solution framing for new engagements.
- Develop thought leadership and represent SiriusAI at Financial Services AI conferences and industry forums.
- Mentor and lead on-site AI deployment teams at client organizations; build AI playbooks, delivery methodologies, and reusable IP accelerators.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Required
- 8 to 15 years across AI/ML, data science, or enterprise digital transformation— with substantial time in senior, client-facing delivery roles.
- Deep hands-on command of Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning) and Agentic AI (multi-agent orchestration, tool-use, workflow automation).
- Proven track record leading complex AI transformation programs at large enterprises from strategy through production.
- Equally credible with C-suite on AI strategy and with engineering teams on technical architecture and delivery.
- Exceptional communication and executive storytelling—making complex AI accessible to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical foundation in AI/ML—demonstrated through hands-on work, published projects, or equivalent practical expertise.
- Strongly Preferred
- Deep FS domain expertise (banking, payments, capital markets, fintech) with hands-on AI application to AML, fraud, credit risk, or payments.
- Familiarity with Financial Services regulatory landscape: Risk & Regulatory, Explainability etc.
- Background at an AI-native company, enterprise AI lab, or as a senior AI/engineering leader within a Financial Services firm.
HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
- Revenue growth and expansion of AI transformation programs within managed accounts.
- Production deployment of AI systems with measurable client-reported business impact.
- Development and retention of high-performing Forward Deployed Engineering talent.
- Creation of reusable SiriusAI accelerators, AI frameworks, and proprietary IP.
