AI Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - AI Applications to provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple AI-enabled software development initiatives. This individual will guide development teams, establish engineering best practices, conduct code and architecture reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, high-quality solutions are delivered.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple AI-enabled software development initiatives
• Guide development teams and establish engineering best practices
• Conduct code and architecture reviews
• Ensure scalable, secure, high-quality solutions are delivered
• Troubleshoot complex production issues
• Mentor developers

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of software development experience, including Senior/Lead-level experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with C#, Python, JavaScript, Angular, and React
• Experience building REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API, Node.js, and/or Flask
• Strong Azure and/or AWS cloud experience
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and DevOps
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, secure coding, and automated testing
• Ability to lead code/design reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues, and mentor developers
• Experience supporting AI-enabled applications or enterprise-scale platforms highly preferred
• Must be able to work onsite in The Woodlands/Houston, TX area

The Woodlands / Houston, TX - Onsite Required - MUST BE LOCAL not open for those who require relocating.
