AI Strategy Consultant

About the role

You will work with senior leaders to figure out where AI actually creates value in their business, then sequence it into a plan their board can fund and their teams can execute. The strategy has to survive contact with reality, so you stay close to delivery. This is for someone who can hold a boardroom and a build review on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with executives to map AI opportunities across the business.
• Model ROI and sequence initiatives into a board-ready roadmap.
• Design operating models, governance, and the guardrails regulated work needs.
• Partner with engineering so the strategy reflects what we can actually ship.
• Build trusted, senior client relationships that lead to long-term work.

Requirements

• 6+ years in strategy consulting, product, or transformation, with AI fluency.
• You can translate between business outcomes and technical reality, both directions.
• Strong executive presence and crisp written communication.
• Genuine understanding of what modern AI can and cannot do today.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, healthcare, legal, or real estate.
• Background that blends consulting with hands-on delivery.
