About the role

As an AI Strategy & Applications Intern at Summit Leadership Partners, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing AI solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-enabled improvement
• Research and evaluate AI tools, platforms, and vendors
• Conduct initial demos and testing of AI solutions
• Translate business needs into AI use cases and recommend solutions
• Map workflows and propose lightweight implementation approaches
• Support early-stage implementation and adoption of tools
• Contribute to build vs. buy decision-making
• Monitor emerging AI trends

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest or experience in applying AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
• Familiarity with APIs, data flow, and SaaS tools
• Experience evaluating software or improving workflows/processes
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or startup environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program with a completed undergraduate degree
• Preferred fields of study: Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, AI/Machine Learning, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Decision Science

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS technologies
