AI Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI applications using enterprise LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini).
• Translate PACE business needs into production-ready AI solutions.
• Architect and implement RAG systems that ground AI in proprietary data while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Own the full development lifecycle from ideation/POC to production deployment.
• Develop agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, or Copilot Studio.
• Deploy AI services in private cloud environments (Azure, AWS as needed) with Docker, private endpoints, and secure VNETs.
• Evaluate and integrate across multiple AI models based on performance, cost, latency, and compliance.
• Implement AIOps/MLOps best practices (monitoring, versioning, CI/CD).
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and recommend improvements.
• Work varied schedule as needed, complete documentation, maintain confidentiality, and perform other duties.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, applied AI, or software engineering with an AI focus.
• Experience working with diverse groups.
• Proven experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval evaluation.
• Enterprise LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), prompt engineering, structured output, function calling.
• Advanced Python skills for AI development, API integration, and data pipelines.
• Cloud and containerization: Azure AI services and Docker.
• DevOps/CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or similar.
• Agentic AI frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Copilot Studio.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and independent work skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Healthcare domain experience (HIPAA, PHI handling).
• Knowledge of PACE model of care.
• Experience benchmarking LLMs (cost, latency, accuracy, safety).
• Secondary cloud experience in AWS AI/ML services.

Education Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or Computer Engineering.
• PREFERRED: Master's degree in the above.
