AI Security Consultant
About the role
An experienced Cybersecurity Consultant is sought to support intake and triage for new AI use cases. This role involves identifying impacted Cyber Teams, building and training an AI agent for long-term triage, facilitating communication between Cybersecurity and AI teams, gathering and documenting requirements for AI security initiatives, and assisting with AI security tool evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Support intake and triage of new AI use cases by collecting information, assessing scope, and routing work to appropriate Cyber teams.
- Create intake questions, decision criteria, routing logic, service expectations, and supporting documentation.
- Build, train, test, and improve an AI agent for repeatable intake-triage activities.
- Develop prompts, classification criteria, knowledge sources, and quality measures for the triage agent.
- Document the AI agent’s dependencies, integration points, data needs, and operating procedures.
- Facilitate communication between Cybersecurity and AI teams, ensuring clarity on objectives, designs, and security needs.
- Represent Cybersecurity in designated cross-organizational AI forums.
- Lead discovery sessions to document business, functional, security, and operational requirements for AI security initiatives.
- Support selected AI security tool evaluations by defining use cases, coordinating proof-of-concept activities, and preparing recommendations.
- Manage stakeholder alignment, surface gaps, and drive clear ownership and next steps.
- Create reusable templates, playbooks, and knowledge articles to strengthen long-term AI security capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience solving complex problems and driving multiple stakeholders towards implementable solutions.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment within the technology domain.
- Experience and knowledge of strategic and financial analysis, issues/risk management, and project change requests.
- Ability to influence diverse customer groups to align on strategic goals and decisions.
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing communication strategies for buy-in and acceptance.
- Experience in the Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management domain.
- Consulting experience.
