Responsibilities
- Analyze AI search performance, citations, and content gaps, translating findings into prioritized optimization recommendations.
- Partner with content marketing, growth marketers, communications, product marketing, and brand marketing teams to develop and optimize AI-friendly content strategies.
- Execute GEO and AEO initiatives that improve the organization's visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Monitor AI search trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices, recommending adjustments to ongoing optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with the AEO project manager to track initiatives, prioritize workstreams, and ensure timely execution of strategic objectives.
- Evaluate brand presence and competitive performance across AI search platforms, identifying opportunities to improve discoverability and authority.
- Measure key AI search visibility metrics, documenting insights, preparing executive-ready updates, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and evolving AI search ecosystems.
- Experience optimizing content for search engines and AI-powered answer platforms using SEO best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience using SEO and analytics platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, or similar tools.
- Experience with Profound or a comparable AI search intelligence platform is preferred.
- Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Location: Fully remote. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and physically reside within the U.S. throughout the duration of the assignment.
Pay: $48-$52/hr depending on experience
Shift: 8am-5pm EST (1 hr lunch)
Hrs: Initially up to 30hrs per week and around November 2026, will go up to 40hrs. No OT or weekend expectations.
Duration: 1 year contract, low possibility of extension depending on performance and work requirement. No Conversion expectation.
