About the role

The Cambridge Boston Alignment Initiative (CBAI) is seeking a Unit Head – Data Systems to lead the development and management of data systems within the organization. This role requires a strong background in data systems, software engineering, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions
• Manage data infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability
• Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations and standards
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data systems, software engineering, and project management
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and database management systems
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
