AI Project Manager

About The Opportunity

An innovative, global software company is seeking a motivated AI Project Manager to support customer-facing software and AI-enabled implementation projects. This role is ideal for an early-career project manager who is eager to build expertise in SaaS delivery, artificial intelligence, and customer implementations while working alongside experienced project leaders. You'll play a key role in coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful customer outcomes in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of customer-facing software and AI-enabled projects under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Prepare customer-facing and internal project status updates.
• Cook up meetings, action items, and follow-up activities across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to project delivery processes, PMO standards, and best practices.
• Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.

Preferred AI Experience

• Exposure to software implementations involving conversational AI or AI-enabled platforms.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including large language models (LLMs) and natural language understanding (NLU).
• Ability to document AI-related requirements, risks, and project considerations.
• Experience supporting customer expectations throughout AI implementation projects.
• Awareness of common AI challenges, including data quality and model limitations.
• Interest in learning prompt engineering concepts and AI performance metrics.
• Comfortable using AI-powered productivity, documentation, and analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Up to 4 years of experience supporting customer-facing software, technology, or SaaS implementation projects.
• Foundational knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience working within software, SaaS, or technical environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Salesforce.
• PMP, AI, or related certifications are a plus.
