About the role
The AI Program Manager drives delivery and adoption of Precisely’s AI-enabled PMO tool across Professional Services, bridging emerging AI capabilities with program and project management for billable delivery. This is a billable, client-facing role: you will own the internal program end-to-end while leading client engagements, carrying a target utilization rate, and translating complex AI concepts into decision-ready plans for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI-enabled PMO program end-to-end — from use-case intake through rollout and adoption.
- Identify high-impact AI use cases across Professional Services workflows and build the ROI case (hours saved, margin).
- Deliver billable client engagements, applying AI-enabled PMO capabilities in the field.
- Lead AI enablement and training for Professional Services, PMO, and Operations.
- Govern AI outputs, standards, evaluation, and reconciliation before rollout.
- Run program cadence: backlog, stakeholder alignment, status, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (business or technical). Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
- 6–8+ years in program/project management (PMP), leading cross-functional programs end-to-end.
- Client-facing delivery in a professional services/consulting environment, comfortable carrying a utilization/billable target.
- Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences, up to executive level.
- Agile and traditional delivery fluency (Scrum/Kanban, waterfall/hybrid) with PM tooling (MS Project, Wrike, ClickUp, Monday, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- Strong KPI/ROI and metrics discipline — able to define, measure, and report program value.
- Working understanding of AI/GenAI, with excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills; PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification a plus.
- Travel is required: approximately 20%.
Skills
- AI Skills/Knowledge: Fluency with generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks. Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and adopt new capabilities quickly.
- AI/GenAI fluency: Practical grasp of LLMs, AI agents, and AI-enabled PMO/automation tools, including awareness of AI limitations.
- Prompt engineering: Structured prompts to generate plans, documentation, analysis, and decision materials.
- Data literacy: Understanding of data sources, AI usage, and implications for data quality, privacy, and security.
- Responsible AI: Working knowledge of AI ethics, bias, governance, and emerging regulation.
- AI across the delivery lifecycle: Application in planning, risk, status, reporting, and knowledge capture.
- Change management & AI adoption: Moving teams from pilot to scaled adoption.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/GenAI certification (PMI GenAI for PMs, applied-AI, or responsible-AI credential).
- Prior experience standing up an internal AI/automation program or PMO transformation and measuring its ROI.
- Background in data management, data integrity, or analytics delivery (aligned with Precisely’s portfolio).
- Familiarity with AI agents/agentic workflows and AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF).
- Consulting experience translating AI strategy into client-facing roadmaps.
