AI Product Manger : Advisor
About the role
At Jack Henry, we're more than a technology company — we're a force for good in financial services, redefining how community banks and credit unions connect with the people they serve. Our mission is rooted in people‑inspired innovation, empowering financial institutions to deliver seamless, secure, and human‑centered experiences. This Product Manager Advisor balances tactical sprint execution with hands‑on product discovery and commercialization, playing a key role in expanding internal and external beta programs for our AI Gateway and upcoming AI platform products. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and other teams, you will translate high‑level product strategy into prioritized backlogs, test technical feasibility, and operationalize AI capabilities for real‑world business use.
Responsibilities
- Beta & Launch Execution: Lead internal and external client beta programs for the AI Gateway and platform products; establish feedback loops to refine workflows, resolve adoption friction, and validate usability.
- Backlog & Sprint Ownership: Own, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog. Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria granular enough for sprint execution; define the team's "definition of done."
- Feasibility & Technical Discovery: Partner directly with Architecture and Engineering to test feature feasibility, evaluate compute trade‑offs, and translate technical capabilities into actionable requirements.
- GTM & Stakeholder Support: Assist product leadership with go‑to‑market readiness by providing clear feature documentation, tracking beta metrics, and coordinating with onboarding and support teams.
- Research market trends and needs; articulate findings in the form of product requirements.
- Play a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure differentiation from competitors.
- Own the entire product lifecycle — from initiation through delivery to eventual retirement — working closely with development teams.
- Develop specific marketing plans and activities to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement in the competitive arena.
- Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
- Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
- Establish pricing strategies.
- May assist in support of specific product or product family; may assist less experienced peers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building software or platform products.
- Hands‑on experience running client betas, user testing, or early‑adopter programs.
- Proven ability to translate high‑level product strategy into prioritized backlogs, clear user stories, and actionable product releases.
- Ability to pivot quickly based on real‑time feedback, shifting AI capabilities, and evolving governance standards while maintaining sprint velocity.
- Experience leveraging user interaction data and model accuracy metrics to validate product performance and measure commercial value.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
