AI Product Manager Project Intern (TikTok LIVE-Ecosystem Governance) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

Team Introduction: TikTok LIVE is a fast-growing platform that enables real-time interactive content experiences, connecting creators and audiences worldwide. Our mission is to create a safe, engaging, and high-quality livestreaming ecosystem that fosters creativity and community building. The LIVE Ecosystem Governance team plays a crucial role in ensuring platform integrity by designing product strategies, moderation mechanisms, and governance solutions to support sustainable growth. As a Product Manager, you will help develop governance tools, optimize ecosystem strategies, and drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance livestreaming experiences. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks with 4 days onsite during Spring 2026.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate across teams and manage diverse stakeholder needs.
• Passion for livestreaming, content/community governance, and trust & safety in digital platforms.
• A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership in driving projects forward.

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to commit to working onsite during Summer 2026.
• Internship or project experience in product management, content governance, or trust & safety field.
• Familiarity with livestreaming platforms (or content platform) and TikTok LIVE’s creator community.
• Basic data analysis skills (SQL) to support decision-making.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and tackle real-time governance challenges.
