About the role

Brain Co is a $55M Series A applied AI startup co-founded by Jared Kushner and Elad Gil, backed by Andrej Karpathy and Patrick Collison. They build frontier AI applications for the world’s most critical institutions, including national governments and healthcare systems, to modernize essential infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating with government ministers to ship production-ready AI solutions.
• Build scalable full-stack applications that automate complex workflows in construction, energy, and healthcare.
• Partner directly with key stakeholders, including government ministers and hospital administrators, to define product specs and solve complex operational challenges.
• Design and deploy advanced AI-integrated software solutions using React, TypeScript, and microservices architecture.
• Build and scale robust data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to ensure 99% reliability for essential services like energy production and healthcare.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-stack experience with React/TypeScript and backend technologies like Node, Python, or Go, preferably from a founding or early-stage background.
• A strong foundation in software design and algorithms, ideally with a degree from a top-tier Computer Science program.
• Thrives in ambiguous, high-stakes environments and is eager to own problems end-to-end while working directly with customers to deliver tangible impact.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work directly with government officials and hospital administrators.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
