AI Product Designer Graduate (TikTok-Design) - 2027 Start

About the role

As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to pursue bold ideas, tackle complex challenges, and unlock limitless growth. Responsibilities

• Design TikTok’s AI products and tools from concept to launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to build a trustworthy, user-centric AI experience.
• Understand business goals and user needs; drive C-side design from logic mapping to final implementation.
• Stay current with AI interaction trends and help define design standards for AI products.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) in daily workflows to boost efficiency and quality.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, AI, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Strong interaction and UI skills; proficient in Figma and familiar with iOS/Android design guidelines.
• Frequent user of AI products with a clear understanding of AI capabilities and interaction paradigms.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and learning-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for AI product design, curiosity, and a global perspective.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI product design internship or relevant portfolio/case study.
• Skills in visual, motion, or user research design.
• C-side product design experience and familiarity with component-based systems.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $151,200 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
