AI Product Attorney

About the role

An innovative technology company building AI-enabled products is seeking an experienced Product Counsel to partner closely with its product team on emerging legal, privacy, and AI-related issues. This attorney will advise on product workflows and launches, help identify legal considerations early in development, and ensure related privacy disclosures, policies, terms, and conditions appropriately reflect how the products operate.

The ideal candidate has meaningful product counseling experience, a strong privacy background, and experience advising on AI-enabled products. Prior technology company experience is preferred.

This project is remote, ongoing, requires approximately 20 hours per week, and starts as soon as possible. West Coast-based candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal, privacy, and AI-related issues for AI-enabled products
• Partner with product teams on workflows and launches
• Identify legal considerations early in product development
• Ensure privacy disclosures, policies, terms, and conditions accurately reflect product operations

Requirements

• Meaningful product counseling experience
• Strong privacy background
• Experience advising on AI-enabled products
• Prior technology company experience preferred

Pay

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $112, based on qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, and project requirements.
