AI Platform Engineer
The AI Platform Engineer will design, build, and scale the infrastructure powering next-generation AI-driven products. This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, platform operations, DevOps, and artificial intelligence, enabling engineering teams to build and deploy faster.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the technical foundation that supports secure, reliable, and scalable product development.
- Combine hands-on engineering with strategic platform ownership, improving infrastructure, deployment processes, and AI operations.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across production environments.
- Manage AWS services including networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, security, and operational tooling.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Create reusable infrastructure components and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, safety, and developer workflows.
- Support AI infrastructure initiatives, including LLM workflows, model deployment, evaluation pipelines, and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
- Operationalize solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, and related technologies.
- Improve system observability, monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis processes.
- Enhance platform reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to define technical standards and platform direction.
- Mentor engineers on cloud infrastructure, operational best practices, and scalable system design.
Requirements
- Platform-focused engineer with strong experience building production systems and a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and AI infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
- Experience designing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with platforms such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong Python development skills and experience building backend systems and APIs.
- Experience with cloud technologies including ECS, Docker, IAM, VPC networking, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of AI infrastructure concepts, including LLM workflows, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, model deployment, and ML operations.
- Experience with platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, Dagster, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of reliability, observability, automation, and scalable architecture principles.
- Able to simplify complex systems and continuously improve developer experiences.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership, and building solutions from the ground up.
