Responsibilities

• Set a clear creative vision and visual direction for internal communications and learning experiences.
• Uphold brand and design standards while partnering closely with stakeholders and creative teammates.
• Independently lead end-to-end creative projects, from ideation and concept development through design, production, iteration, and final delivery.
• Bring structure to ambiguity and drive work forward with speed and high craft.
• Work in fast-paced, iterative environments, managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Adopt and apply AI tools in real creative production workflows, using them to increase velocity and expand possibilities while protecting quality and standards.
• Communicate design rationale, influence decisions, and build alignment with XFN teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Art Direction (in-house or agency), with a strong portfolio showing strong concepting, craft, and visual storytelling across mediums and styles.
• Demonstrated ability to set visual direction and guide others to successful execution (critiques, steers, reviews, quality control).
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; plus After Effects/Premiere as needed for your project mix).
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments, managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Experience adopting and applying AI tools in real creative production workflows with strong judgment about when to use AI vs. traditional craft.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to explain design rationale, influence decisions, and build alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or evolving lightweight visual systems (templates, toolkits, modular assets) that scale quality across a team.
• Comfort working at different altitudes, from hands-on making to higher-level directional support, depending on project needs.

• Ownership: self-starter who can run projects independently and reliably drive work to ship.

Pay Range

$106,000 - $160,000 USD yearly.

Pay Transparency Statement

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across our US locations. The "pay scale" provided is a good faith estimate of the range the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and specific geographic location.

• Variable Pay: This position is eligible for Annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
