AI/ML Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an AI/ML Support Engineer to work onsite in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will empower teams by troubleshooting model-related issues, optimizing performance, and providing expert support for AI/ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex AI/ML model-related issues
• Optimize model performance and deployment
• Provide expert support for AI/ML platforms and cloud services
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data analysis workflows

Requirements

• Strong foundation in AI/ML, machine learning, and natural language processing
• Experience with data analysis, data pipelines, and model deployment
• Deep understanding of compute fundamentals (virtualization, containerization, OS, system administration)
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and their AI/ML services
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and GCP products/services (e.g., Vertex AI, Dialogflow, Gemini)
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Ray) and AI accelerators (TPUs, GPUs)
• Familiarity with model architectures (encoders, decoders, transformers) and machine learning APIs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience reading code in a general-purpose language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript) or system design
• 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning model development and deployment
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues

Pay

$38/hour – $43/hour (depending on experience)
