About the role
As a data technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing datasets by labeling images, tagging objects, and applying metadata that supports AI model development. Your responsibilities include:
- Labeling or annotating data, including images or objects, to support data preparation workflows.
- Performing basic quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in labeled datasets.
- Using basic digital tools for reviewing and labeling content.
- Organizing information according to established practices, including categorizing and structuring data.
- Maintaining high accuracy across repetitive tasks.
- Identifying and reporting data inconsistencies or unclear cases.
- Learning new technical processes and tools over time.
- Collaborating with engineers and analysts to ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and ready for future model training.

- Knowledge of data organization practices, including categorizing and structuring information.
- The ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high accuracy across repetitive tasks.
- The ability to identify and report data inconsistencies or unclear cases.
- The ability to learn new technical processes and tools over time.
- The ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
Skills

- Experience working with basic scripting or software tools.

- Knowledge of metadata tagging, object identification, or digital imaging.

Pay
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
