AI & ML Engineer, Generative

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI & Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate about research and its real-world applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance our digital automotive solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, software engineers, product managers, and designers to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI-driven features. Your expertise will help optimize our AI models, improve user experiences, and ensure the deployment of high-quality, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in machine learning and AI development
• Proven expertise with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases
• Experience working with open-source LLMs and relevant hardware infrastructure
• Proficiency with OpenAI API, LangChain ecosystem, and prompt engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with R is a plus
• Experience with API integration and enhancing customer experience through AI solutions
• Deep understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Python/R libraries
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Able to analyze production features using analytics and experiments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand business needs and incorporate feedback

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts during requirement gathering to ensure AI solutions meet business needs
• Develop and extend machine learning libraries and frameworks for scalable web applications
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to integrate AI models into products
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models continuously for performance and accuracy
• Ensure the best possible user experience by integrating AI features seamlessly
• Share knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with internal teams of ML engineers
• Engage in continuous learning about the latest trends and innovations in machine learning and AI
• Align data infrastructure with business goals through minimal supervision and strategic planning
