AI/ML Engineer - Clearance Required

About the role

For our client, we are seeking an AI/ML Engineer - Clearance Required to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will focus on building and optimizing machine learning solutions that support secure, mission-driven initiatives in a high-impact environment. You will develop predictive and generative AI capabilities, engineer reusable services, and help ensure models are scalable, reliable, and production-ready. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape data pipelines, application support, and technical implementation.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$122,000 – $211,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and optimize machine learning algorithms for various applications
• Develop and refine predictive models under stringent requirements
• Create NLP and generative AI solutions tailored to specific use cases
• Engineer reusable services and components for integration into web applications
• Design architectures for scalable model serving and application support
• Integrate predictive models while ensuring functionality and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data structures and pipelines

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, AI, or data science
• 5+ years of experience deploying machine learning models or AI software in production
• Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience developing predictive models that meet specific accuracy and performance standards
• Familiarity with SQL and secure integration across various data platforms
• Knowledge of AI/ML best practices in data protection and governance
