About the role
3-month contract (could be extended for 6 months before conversion) for a remote AI/ML Engineer. Location is flexible, but candidates in Minnesota are preferred. Requires EAD, Green Card, or U.S. citizenship.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of strong software engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Modern software engineering practices.
- AI Software Engineer focus: successful track record building and deploying AI-powered applications and business solutions (not model training, data analysis, or academic AI/ML work).
Responsibilities
- Build production-ready solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI integrations.
- Design scalable solutions and take applications from concept to production.
- Apply cloud architecture, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, security, and operational support.
Skills
- Demonstrable real-world implementations and business outcomes with generative AI.
- Strong system-design, development, and deployment skills.
- Positive attitude, ownership, and team fit: strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, adaptability, professionalism, and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working directly with engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.
