About the role
3-month contract (could be extended for 6 months before conversion) for a remote AI/ML Engineer. Location is flexible, but candidates in Minnesota are preferred. Work authorization: EAD, Green Card, or U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade AI-powered applications and business solutions.
- Build production-ready solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI integrations.
- Take applications from concept to production with a focus on scalable architecture, cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, security, and operational support.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to deliver real-world implementations and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of strong software engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
- Hands-on development experience with Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Experience as an AI Software Engineer (not a traditional data scientist or academic researcher).
- Demonstrable experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, not just model training or data analysis.
- Strong architecture and production delivery skills, including system design, deployment, and operational support.
