About the role
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data preparation, ensuring effective data analysis and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions using programming languages such as Python and R
- Conduct statistical analyses, including regression, hypothesis testing, and distribution analysis, to interpret data accurately
- Design and train machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn for predictive analytics and automation
- Perform data wrangling to clean and organize raw datasets, making them ready for meaningful analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights
Requirements
- 14 years of experience in software engineering in similar programs and contracts utilizing programming languages such as: C++, Python, or Go Lang
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, or a related field
- 4 years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree
- Strong foundation in statistics and probability, including regression analysis and hypothesis testing
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as SageMaker, TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn
- Expertise in data wrangling to prepare raw data for analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with libraries like NumPy, pandas, and advanced visualization tools
- Experience in creating impactful data visualizations and reports for stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
