AI & Machine Learning Researcher

Opportunity Overview

Handshake is seeking computer science and AI/ML researchers for flexible, hourly contract work supporting AI research. This is not a traditional job; you will apply your expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve AI understanding of cutting-edge research.

This project involves

• Evaluating AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance
• Creating expert-level training data based on your research expertise and academic knowledge

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a top 100 US university
• Research background in areas such as:
• Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
• Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Neural and Evolutionary Computing
• Robotics, Systems and Control, or Multiagent Systems
• Familiarity with arxiv.org, particularly the Computing Research Repository (cs)
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams
