About the Opportunity:The AI/LLM DEVELOPER role entails supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI and large language model (LLM) applications. This position is responsible for advancing AI capabilities from initial concept through operational integration, contributing directly to the organization's AI initiatives and ensuring the maturity and effectiveness of AI-enabled solutions. Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases, define requirements, and set measurable success criteriaDevelop and implement solutions using large language models, generative AI, and related technologiesSupport deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AI-enabled applicationsWork with technical and functional teams to incorporate user feedback and transition pilots into operational capabilitiesPerform additional duties as assigned Requirements:Bachelor’s degree5+ years of relevant experienceExperience developing AI- and LLM-enabled applicationsStrong software engineering and application development backgroundExperience supporting solution design, testing, deployment, and integrationAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with technical and functional stakeholdersMeet security eligibilitiesTSA experience is highly desiredDHS public trust is strongly preferred and will be prioritizedPreferred skills include Python, AWS serverless architectures, Amazon Bedrock, prompt engineering, model evaluation, API development and integration, production-ready AI application development, and use of AI-enabled development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range for this role is estimated between $121,000 and $149,000 annually, with final compensation determined by factors including location, skills, experience, education, certifications, contract requirements, and organizational needs.
