AI/LLM Application Engineer

About the role

Planning, Design, Develop, testing, execution and communication of software releases. Collaborate with development peers & Business to understand book of work and assist with development efforts. Create effective unit testing coverage for developed code. Ensure software releases are compliant from an enterprise and regulatory perspective and quality of product is maintained without compromise.

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey. Job type: Contract. Education: Bachelors.

Pay

$54.62 - $64.62 per hour

8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Planning, Design, Develop, testing, execution and communication of software releases
• Collaborate with development peers & Business to understand book of work and assist with development efforts
• Create effective unit testing coverage for developed code
• Ensure software releases are compliant from an enterprise and regulatory perspective and quality of product is maintained without compromise

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Python (LLM/agent development)
• React + TypeScript (mandatory) + Nextjs Streaming UI (WebSockets / SSE)
• API-driven UI & component development
• LLM frameworks: LangChain / LangGraph / Google Agent SDK / AutoGen (TypeScript SDKs)
• Experience 3+ years engineering
• Built chatbot/copilot OR agent workflows
• Experience building reusable UI components/SDKs
• Hands-on RAG and tool-based agents
• Agent SDK, API-driven, AutoGen, chatbot, component development, Streaming, LLM frameworks, LangGraph, LLM, copilot, Nextjs, Python, ReactJS, React, RAG, TypeScript, unit testing, WebSockets, communication, testing, workflows

• RAG + prompt engineering + tool calling
