Overview
ECPI University is seeking a Cybersecurity Faculty Member with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for AI applications in cybersecurity and networking
- Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and refine AI-focused curriculum
- Teach courses related to cybersecurity, networking, and AI integration
- Apply innovative teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes
- Integrate emerging AI tools, techniques, and real-world use cases into instruction
- Stay current with advancements in AI and cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR Master’s degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in the discipline Ph.D. strongly preferred
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity 3–5 years of relevant industry experience (10+ years preferred) Teaching, training, or speaking experience preferred
Required Technical Skills
- AI/ML concepts and applications in cybersecurity
- Networking fundamentals
- Windows and Linux systems
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Security automation and AI-driven threat detection

- Strong expertise in AI-driven cybersecurity solutions
- Excellent communication and curriculum development skills
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical learning
