AI Governance Operations Lead Director - RAIB

Job Summary

Lead the operationalization of enterprise-wide AI governance, ensuring responsible AI deployment across business units. Partner with senior leaders, governance boards, and cross-functional teams to build, scale, and improve governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise intake process, maintain forms, and ensure routing reliability.
• Update AI governance standards, taxonomies, definitions, and risk-classification logic.
• Align AI governance with broader enterprise policies.
• Validate intake submissions for completeness and proper routing.
• Manage exception requests and coordinate EAIC-level escalations.
• Implement EAIC-directed process updates.
• Identify and resolve technical failures in governance processes.
• Conduct trend analysis on AI use cases, risk tiers, and model types.
• Identify systemic risks and escalate to EAIC.
• Maintain vendor repository and risk data.
• Create enterprise reports and risk trend summaries.
• Maintain dashboards for RAIB and EAIC leadership.
• Cook up coordination with RAIB leaders and subject matter experts.
• Develop training materials and playbooks.
• Deliver training sessions and office hours.
• Create role-based training for RAIBs and PMOs.
• Participate in RAIB Operations/Lead community of practice.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Procurement teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.

Critical Skills

• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling compliance programs for technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of AI laws, data protection laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to translate regulatory expectations into enterprise workflows.
• AI/ML technical fluency including model validation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Familiarity with GenAI/LLM risks (hallucination, prompt injection, etc.).
• Knowledge of model risk management frameworks and risk-tiering logic.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders (VP/EVP level).
• Strong change leadership skills.

Base Pay Range

$152,800 - $254,600
