About the role

As part of the AI Governance team within the Digital Assurance & Technology team, you will enhance project delivery through innovative methodologies and technology resources. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI governance, maintaining compliance and transparency in emerging technologies. You will lead teams in assessing governance, risk, and control programs while mentoring junior staff to develop their skills.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. You will motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality, leveraging team members' unique strengths and managing performance to meet client expectations. You play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the firm's success and are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating the firm's purpose and values. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks to manage risk and compliance for clients
  • Analyze complex regulatory landscapes to provide strategic advice and solutions
  • Manage client engagements, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, and execution of projects
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain quality and meet client expectations
  • Utilize risk governance knowledge to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks
  • Encourage innovation and technology adoption to improve service delivery
  • Address conflicts and facilitate difficult conversations with stakeholders
  • Uphold professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the firm's success
  • Analyze and identify linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
  • Take ownership of projects and develop skills outside your comfort zone, encouraging others to do the same

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience

Skills

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Project/Technology Management
  • Experience in AI/ML governance, risk, controls, audit, testing, and validation, including awareness of AI lifecycles and leading risk frameworks such as NIST and ISO
  • Supporting the design and assessment of AI governance models, policies, standards, and control programs
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in risk governance methodologies
  • Excellence in strategic planning and execution for client projects
  • Leveraging technology and innovation to enhance project delivery
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff to achieve project goals
  • Analyzing complex systems to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Navigating ambiguity while maintaining integrity and authenticity in leadership

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state, the salary range is $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
