About the role

The AI Finance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. This role leverages deep expertise in finance applications, data management, and machine learning to support key finance personas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EY's AI Finance service offering, creating an industry-agnostic data model for finance applications.
  • Work closely with the Data Lead and Product Owner to ensure the EY AI Finance Blueprint is designed on a solid foundation of accurate, consistent, and reliable finance application data architecture.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations, gathering, understanding, and analyzing business requirements.
  • Provide in-depth analysis related to the implementation, customization, and optimization of specific technology platforms.
  • Lead workstream delivery, ensuring processes and solutions are managed effectively while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management.
  • Engage with clients daily, participate in planning and execution, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance and results.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree and approximately five years of related work experience in data management, with at least one year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling. Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and master data management, is essential. Experience with machine learning techniques, gen AI technologies, and Azure data services is required. Knowledge of finance applications, such as financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and proficiency in data integration, data transformation, and data modeling tools are necessary. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are also required.

Qualifications

A graduate degree in finance, computer science, information systems, or a related field with relevant experience in finance data management, including data modeling and ML, is preferred. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels, consistently run and deliver quality client services, and manage expectations of client service delivery is expected.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
