AI Evaluation Engineer – Scientific Computing & Research Remote About T-Maxx InternationalT-Maxx International works with global professionals and domain experts on AI development, evaluation, and data projects.We are building a long-term network of researchers, engineers, and technical professionals to help evaluate and improve advanced AI systems. About the RoleWe are looking for technical professionals to support an advanced AI evaluation and research project.You will review how AI agents complete coding and research tasks, analyze execution results and traces, reproduce tasks locally, identify the causes of failures, and provide evidence-based evaluation conclusions.We welcome candidates from scientific computing, engineering, AI/ML, research software, simulation, optimization, or systems backgrounds. What You’ll DoReview AI-generated code, execution results, logs, and agent traces.Run and test technical tasks locally using Python, Linux, Shell, and Docker.Identify whether issues come from the task, code, evaluation method, reference solution, or execution environment.Check reproducibility, evaluation consistency, and potential data leakage or contamination.Provide clear Pass / Conditional Pass / Reject conclusions with supporting evidence and improvement suggestions. What We’re Looking ForStrong hands-on experience with Python.Comfortable with Linux, Shell, Git, and Docker.Experience with technical experiments, benchmarking, simulation, model evaluation, or research software.Able to debug code and investigate execution traces independently.Familiar with Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding tools.Good written English and strong analytical skills. Preferred BackgroundExperience in one or more of the following is a plus:Scientific Computing · Computational Physics · Engineering · Machine Learning · Research Software · AI Evaluation · Simulation · Optimization · HPC / Systems A Master’s or PhD is welcome but not required. Strong hands-on technical experience is more important.
