AI Engineer, Senior

About the role

Pathward is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to research, develop, and implement AI solutions in a remote-first environment. The role focuses on improving business outcomes by integrating AI into existing workflows and systems.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop AI and machine learning models to solve business challenges
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI technologies across the organization
• Assess existing workflows and recommend AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and business outcomes
• Collect, prepare, and preprocess data from various sources for model training
• Train, validate, and optimize AI models for robustness, performance, and accuracy
• Mitigate biases and ensure ethical AI practices
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems, applications, and workflows
• Develop APIs, microservices, or interfaces for seamless deployment and scalability in production environments
• Monitor and maintain deployed AI models through performance tracking, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent experience in researching, developing, and implementing AI and machine learning solutions
