About the Role
Vibrant is seeking a Founding AI Engineer with strong full-stack development capabilities to design and build innovative AI-powered products for clinicians. As an early technical contributor, you will have the opportunity to influence product direction, technical architecture, and engineering practices while helping bring new healthcare solutions from concept to production. The role combines AI-focused product development with full-stack engineering, data modeling, API development, and user interface design. A strong understanding of compliance and user experience is essential when building technology for the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered products and features for healthcare professionals.
- Develop scalable full-stack applications across backend and frontend systems.
- Design and implement effective data models and APIs.
- Build intuitive user interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.
- Translate product and clinical requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions as a founding team member.
- Help develop products with healthcare compliance and security considerations in mind.
- Collaborate closely with the team to iterate quickly in a startup environment.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve healthcare workflows and clinician experiences.
- Help establish strong engineering and product development practices as the company grows.
Required Qualifications
- Mid-Senior level experience in software or full-stack development.
- Strong understanding of full-stack application development.
- Experience with data modeling and API development.
- Strong UI development and user experience awareness.
- Ability to design and implement reliable technical solutions.
- Understanding of compliance considerations in technology development.
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical initiatives.

Compensation
- Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year
- Equity participation included
