AI Engineer - Operations

About the role

We are looking to add our second AI Engineer to our Platform and Innovation R&D team to lead how we apply AI internally across Deposco. This is a unique opportunity to shape and embed the use of LLMs in our daily operations, focusing on high-impact automation and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities where AI can increase productivity, improve decision-making, and enhance internal processes.
• Develop and implement AI tooling and solutions that deliver tangible business value.
• Join a team of world-class engineers building high-quality software architecture that our teammates trust, making communication and teamwork essential skills for this position.
• Develop and maintain internal tools and systems that automate existing work and increase employee productivity utilizing AI.
• Use AI tools to accelerate your own development process while building these systems.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to understand pain points and identify high-impact automation opportunities.
• Rapidly prototype AI-enabled utilities and deploy them into production.
• Stay updated on the latest AI models and tools, applying that knowledge to solve real business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar field.
• 1 to 5 years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
• Some understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Experience building AI Agents, MCPs, and automating various workflows.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, RESTful).
• Reside in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Experience with platform and/or architectural roles is a must.
• Experience using AI coding tools for development is a must.
