AI Engineer, Intern

Remote opportunity for a full-time Software Engineer to join our distributed product team.

About the role

We’re looking for a mid-level engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build and scale our core platform. Our stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, but we care more about your ability to learn than specific tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship new features that directly impact thousands of users.
• Write clean, maintainable code and review peers’ pull requests.
• Debug complex issues across the stack and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation (one week every two months) to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate in bi-weekly sprint planning and daily stand-ups (all async-friendly).

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred).
• Experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote-first team.

Pay

$120,000–$150,000 base salary, plus equity (0.05–0.1% of company).
