Job Description Job Title : AI Engineer Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Job Type : C2C / W2 Experience : 10-15 Years Location : Houston, Texas (Remote) Role Summary We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to work directly with client stakeholders and deliver production-ready Generative AI solutions. The role involves understanding business workflows, building AI applications, integrating enterprise systems, and owning delivery from prototype through deployment. Key Responsibilities Translate client requirements into practical AI solutions and measurable outcomes. Build LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, and AI agents. Integrate AI applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems. Develop evaluation processes to assess accuracy, reliability, safety, and performance. Deploy and monitor solutions, optimizing response quality, latency, and cost. Conduct demonstrations, incorporate user feedback, and document implementation and handover. Required Skills Strong Python development skills and experience building APIs and production applications. Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and agent workflows. Experience with Azure OpenAI or comparable enterprise AI platforms. Knowledge of model evaluation, access controls, data privacy, and application monitoring. Strong communication skills and experience delivering solutions directly with client teams. Preferred Skills Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with Databricks, MLflow, and automated deployment pipelines. Qualification Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
