Responsibilities
- Implement AI and machine-learning features for search, recommendations, and personalization
- Build data preparation, evaluation, and experimentation workflows
- Work with prompts, embeddings, retrieval, structured outputs, and LLM APIs
- Integrate AI capabilities into reliable product and backend systems
- Investigate model quality, latency, and failure cases
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams in a remote environment
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Strong Python programming skills
- Understanding of machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval fundamentals
- Familiarity with APIs, Git, debugging, and basic software engineering practices
- Ability to work remotely within the United States
Preferred
- Experience with LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, or model evaluation
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud AI services
- Experience building AI prototypes or data pipelines
- Interest in AI agents, recommendation systems, or search technology
