About The Role

The GenAI and Agentic AI Engineer at Arbitration Forums plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced generative AI and agentic AI solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and legal compliance, to create innovative AI-driven applications tailored to the insurance and claims industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in natural language processing, large language models, RAG, prompt engineering, and robotic process automation. They will be responsible for implementing AI solutions that are not only effective and scalable but also ethically sound and compliant with data governance standards. The engineer will champion the AI development lifecycle, from prompt design to deployment and monitoring, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, relevant outputs that meet the organization's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize prompts for large language models to ensure high-quality outputs for specific use cases
• Implement techniques to guide AI responses, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in business applications
• Develop and deploy agentic AI solutions, following established lifecycle processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business needs and objectives
• Conduct A/B testing of prompt variants and automation workflows, analyzing model behaviors and agentic paths
• Stay current with advancements in LLM, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic AI best practices
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into workflows
• Create comprehensive documentation and reusable libraries for internal and external use
• Work with MLOps engineers to establish observability and monitoring frameworks for AI solutions
• Implement explainability frameworks using protocols like SHAP and Model Context Protocols
• Provide recommendations on AI ethics, acceptable use, and bias mitigation, collaborating with legal and compliance teams
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance in all AI development activities
• Support model observability and governance efforts to maintain standards and ethical considerations
• Mentor junior team members and provide training on prompt engineering and AI best practices
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives related to AI capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in NLP, GenAI, LLMs, RAG, data governance, or related roles
• Deep understanding of Agentic AI components and development processes
• Proficiency in Python and AI-centric libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure AI Foundry, AWS, Google Cloud
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in generative models such as GANs and VAEs
• Strong background in natural language processing, including transformers like GPT models
• Experience with prompt engineering and RAG capabilities
• Understanding of data management, synthetic data generation, and data augmentation techniques
• Familiarity with AI tools like MS Azure ML, Databricks AI, Snowflake CortexAI, Dataiku
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in the auto insurance claims industry is preferred
