AI Engineer

Summary

The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting AI-enabled solutions that enhance operational performance across manufacturing and business processes, while operating within the Information Technology organization. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and IT teams to identify high-value use cases and translate operational challenges into scalable, secure, and compliant AI-driven solutions.

Essential Functions

• Leverage data, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve safety, quality, throughput, productivity, and process efficiency
• Ensure solutions are aligned with IT architecture, security, and governance standards while remaining practical and usable within operational environments
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications
• Provide technical expertise during adoption, troubleshooting, and process optimization efforts

Qualifications

• Education and Experience

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in AI development, machine learning, or software engineering
• Experience with data analysis, automation, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of IT architecture, security, and governance standards
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
